about

Even though the story of "Resistorhead" fits on a single cassette tape, it was the sole inspiration for the three or fours years of sonic nonsense that followed under the Tapehead moniker. For a brief period in 1994, intergalactic music generators 47K, 22K, & 1 Meg all worked together assembling electrical circuits for a company in St. John's, Newfoundland. They crafted some songs based on their situation (and some not) had a ton of fun and laughed a lot despite the fact they were displaced form their home planet Zoltar. "Cheese Please" was the closing track for the "Danger Falling Rock" compilation released in St. John's by Best Dressed Records. These recordings were never released as a collection and only made it into the hands of a couple of people within the circle. Two of these gems appeared on "The Log" - one on "Nocturnal Emissions" and one on "Tapehead International #4 Vol. 1". You're hearing them here in the order they were actually written (?) and recorded on the single cassette that is... Resistorhead.
